Botox (R) Injections

BOTOX (R), a safe cosmetic injection derived from botulinum toxin type A, is carefully diluted and approved by the Food and Drug Administration as a healthy alternative to plastic surgery. The injections will stop muscle contractions in the area of concern, to reduce the appearance and formation of fine lines and wrinkles.

Did you know that a dentist is the person most suited to give BOTOX injections? We have the most advanced training in the anatomy of your face, and we already inject many of the same sites during dental procedures. At Comprehensive Dentistry, Dr. Doodes has received special training in BOTOX injections, and you can trust the effectiveness of the treatment.

Common side effects from the injections include bruising, numbness in the injected area, headaches, nausea, and flu-like symptoms. These are all temporary conditions and will go away in a short time.

If you are in good general health, and you are not pregnant or breastfeeding, schedule a consultation with us to see if BOTOX is right for you.

The injections will reduce the appearance and formation of crows’ feet, furrowed brows, wrinkles around the lips, and other lines that make you look prematurely old. The results will last approximately three to four months. We suggest follow-up treatments every three months for ideal results.
